November 2021 Report
This was a busy and productive month for Philippine Mission Development, both here in the States and in the Philippines. Novis and I traveled several hundred miles promoting the ministry and preaching at every opportunity. We were permitted to attend the Louisiana, Arkansas and Texas State Meetings of the Missionary Baptist Churches; Sunday the 7th, Terry joined us at Pleasant Valley MBC Batesville, AR in the AM Service; then Novis and I visited with Oak Grove MBC of Batesville in the PM Service, sharing PMD and a message from the Word of God. On the 21th we visited Antioch BC, Shelby County, Texas in the AM Service, preached and gave a report on the Ministry; in the PM Service we attended Carthage MBC.
It was necessary to fly Abner, Pastor of the Co-Sponsoring Church, to Polomolok, South Cotobato to view and inspect the building; he was to speak with the engineer and foreman, making sure the building is being constructed to code. He informed me the work was going well and the building would be another strong and beautiful structure for the honor and glory of the Lord. However there was a need to increase the number of posts supporting the balcony. This area will be completed as the church grows and needs the additional space.
Work on the two buildings is progressing quite well; It is expected that both will be completed by the last of February 2022. It is our intentions to travel to the Islands the last of March or first of April, at that time we will have the opportunity to Dedicate three Beautiful Church Building to the Lord. Praise God, He is good.
We received $8,507.07 for the project fund, giving us a balance of $50,219.19 after sending $8,000 to Emanuel MBC; there is a balance of $4,010 still set aside for them. We are closing in on the amount needed for project # 16 , Christian MBC of Escalanta City, and will be looking to number 17 very soon. You can find the rest of the financial report on the back of this report.
I can not emphasize enough how important each of you are to this Ministry, it is your Ministry, you are making it possible for the churches of the Philippines to have such a beautiful tool. A tool that is helping them make their presence known, telling the people we are here to stay, here to help, and here to share the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
