April was a good month in many ways, Terry and I made the trip from the Philippines safely, it took me a while to overcome the jet lag, but all in all everything went well. Financially, we had another good month receiving $7,135.13 for the project fund; the rest of the financial statement is on the back of this report.
The problem with inflation we are experiencing in the U.S., is also affecting our work in the Philippines; when we visited Emanuel MBC #15 for the dedication, they had finished everything but the windows. Because of the increase in the price of materials, they had used all the funds we had allotted, so it was necessary to increase our projection and send an additional $2,000.00 for the purchase of windows. This effects our former projected figures and should explain why our present figures are different from the March report. The windows have been installed and everything is completed.
Construction should begin on #16 in June and we are looking at construction beginning for #17 sometime in October. We are praying that we will have two building to dedicate by the time of our trip next year.
I cannot Thank you, the churches and individuals enough, who have through the grace of God bought into this great Ministry and made PMD such a great success. The buildings are only cement blocks, steel and mortar, but with you providing funds and the Filipino churches taking this tool and using it to advance the Lord’s Kingdom Business, Great things are being accomplished. Praise God, He is Good all the time; God loves you and so do we.
