February 2022 Report
I am excited about the upcoming trip to the Philippines, it has been almost three years since our last trip and many things have happened. Terry and I are scheduled to be gone two weeks, leave March 22 and return April 6, pray with us that it will be a safe and productive trip. There have been three buildings started and almost completed since our last trip. We will be involved in the dedication of these beautiful buildings for the Glory of God. Buildings are simply a tool, and I am excited about how these churches will use them to help spread the Gospel message not only in their immediate community, but as they grow and begin to share the good news to other parts of their Nation and to the world.
For the last three months record offerings have been received, but the month of February has just blown me away. For the project fund in February we received $26,012.55; the balance in this fund is $86,316.95, of this $55,000.00 is set aside for project #16, Christian MBC, Escalante City. The remainder will go toward project # 17, which we hope to choose on our trip. The rest of the report can be seen on the reverse side of this report.
Certainly funds are necessary, but without the Filipino Churches taking advantage of this tool, a beautiful building, and becoming more visible in their community, and growing to the point where they are capable of fulfilling the Great Commission themselves this ministry would be hollow and of no use to the Lord. The bottom line of any ministry must be the salvation of souls, buildings are a tool, but not the ultimate goal.
I am certainly thankful for the large donations we received this month and praise God for them, but at the same time I am just as thankful for all of the other donations no matter how small, those who are faithful each month to give. Just let me say, “I am humbled beyond words and grateful for each and every one of you that have become a part of this great Ministry.” God loves you and so do I.
